For the fourth year in a row the Breast Cancer Research Fund will receive five percent of profits from the sale of PlatinumCode’s pink products
MINNEAPOLIS, November 15, 2016 – PlatinumCode, a leading manufacturer and supplier of specimen identification and collection products for the healthcare industry, announced September 12, 2016 that they had committed five percent of their profits on the sale of eligible pink products to support breast cancer awareness. In making the announcement, PlatinumCode launched various marketing efforts to help support the cause, resulting in a boost in the sale of pink items.
As of Tuesday, November 1, PlatinumCode confirmed the donation would nearly double what it was in 2015 to their charity of choice, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
“Our team has done an amazing job exceeding the customers needs and expectations during Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said PlatinumCode Sales Manager, Ray Bernard, “Our customers are absolutely amazing – they helped us to reach a contribution level of nearly double what it was in 2015.”
PlatinumCode chose to once again donate to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a foundation focused on providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation currently directs 91 cents of every dollar towards breast cancer research and awareness programs.
